Houston Rockets NBA Basketball Collection

The Houston Rockets were founded in 1967, known then as the San Diego Rockets. They relocated in 1971 and became the team we know today, the Houston Rockets. They currently play at the Toyota Center in Houston which holds a maximum 18,104 people. One of the most notable drafts for the Rockets took place in 1984 when the Rockets  took Hakeem Olajuwon with the first overall pick. Olajuwon helped the Rockets win two championships in 1994 & 1995 before being traded to the Toronto Raptors in 2001. Other notable players for the Rockets include Charles Barkley, Tracy McGrady, Rudy Tomjanovich, Yao Ming, Ralph Sampson, Clyde Drexler, Calvin Murphy, Elvin Hayes, & Moses Malone.
