Founded in 2011 by James Williams, Dynasty Sports & Framing was built on a clear and passionate vision: to create a premier destination where fans and collectors could connect with the athletes, moments, and memories that define sports history. The company’s first location opened inside the Willow Grove Park Mall, where it quickly established itself as a trusted hub for authentic memorabilia, immersive fan experiences, and community-driven events. Just one year later, Dynasty hosted its very first Athlete Experience in February 2012, welcoming Philadelphia Flyers stars Claude Giroux and James van Riemsdyk—setting the tone for what would become a cornerstone of the brand.

With more than a decade of industry experience prior to launching Dynasty, James Williams brought deep knowledge of the memorabilia business, established relationships with professional athletes, and a strong understanding of the retail landscape. That foundation proved to be the perfect game plan for introducing a new concept rooted in authenticity, professionalism, and fan engagement.

What began as a single mall store has since grown into a nationally recognized name in sports memorabilia. Today, Dynasty Sports is known for its integrity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver unforgettable athlete appearances. Over the years, Dynasty Sports has hosted hundreds of professional athletes in public settings, including numerous Hall of Famers and legends of the game. During Philadelphia’s Super Bowl runs in 2018 and 2024, Dynasty emerged as the go-to destination for fans to meet their champions, hosting appearances from the majority of the teams and solidifying its role as the epicenter of championship celebrations.

In 2022, Dynasty Sports & Framing expanded its footprint beyond Pennsylvania, entering a new market outside of Boston, Massachusetts. The launch of its Northshore Mall location in Peabody marked a major milestone, with immediate success and strong community support. The grand opening was highlighted by a special appearance from a Boston Bruins legend, and momentum continued with monthly athlete appearances featuring Hall of Famers, world champions, and rising stars across multiple sports.
