Hailing from the Bronx, NY is the New York Yankees. Established in 1903 as the Highlanders playing at Hilltop Park, they became the Yankees and moved to the Polo Grounds in 1913. In 1923 the legendary Yankee Stadium was built and had been their home until 2008, except for 1974 & 1975, when they shared Shea Stadium with the Mets. In 2009 a new Yankee Stadium opened its gates.
