Aargh, the Pirates, or as they were originally called, the Alleghenys, back when they were est. in 1882, didn’t become the Pirates until 1891. You can find them at PNC Park, right along the Allegheny River in Pittsburg, PA. The 5x World Series Champions have had a good share of big talent. From Honus Wagner, Willie Stargell, Dave Parker and Roberto Clemente to the more recent names like Barry Bonds and Andrew McCutchen.
